PRINCETON CONSERVATION COMMISSION
MINUTES FOR MEETING
       December 1, 2015
PRESENT:  
John Vieira, Susan Mitchell, Ron Thompson, Holly Palmgren, Renee McDonough and Brian Keevan from the PCC were in attendance
John Vieira called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

OLD BUSINESS:

  • Tom Sullivan from the Princeton Land gave an update on the Fieldstone Farm Land Acquisition.  Tom gave the PCC a Fact Sheet and an updated Appraisal for the file.  He discussed the 2 maps associated with the Fact Sheet.  Then a little information regarding the Cheever Swamp also known as Calamint Swamp.  The Town Meeting will be on December 15, 2015 to discuss this acquisition.
  • Scott Goddard did not attend the meeting with an update for Gerald Oberhelman 296 Sterling Road, Princeton.  
NEW BUSINESS:

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE:  

  • A letter requesting a Certificate of Compliance was received for Brook Station Road Lot 4A.  Estate of Maruo Valente property.  John Vieira spoke to Donald O’Neil Attorney for the Estate.   A site visit took place on November 22, 2015 with John Vieira, Ron Thompson, Brian Keevan, Sue Mitchell, Renee McDonough and Brett Trowbridge from the PCC as well as Donald O’Neil and Paul Valente.  A complete Certificate of Compliance was issued.  

  • Tom Pitzi attended the meeting with questions regarding his upcoming Notice of Intent for 71 Main Street, Princeton.  PCC explained to him that the Board of Health has to sign off on the plans before this can be voted on by the PCC.  A site visit date was set for December 12, 2015 at 9 AM.
  • PCC voted Brian Keevan as the new Vice Chair,
  • A site visit was discussed for December 5, 2015 with Larry Greene for the Town of Princeton for Calamint Hill Road North for an upcoming road project as well as Grow Lane to inspect the new culvert.
